A field transformed into a migratory stopover for thousands of birds

Five hectares of our fields are currently flooded to provide a resting place for migratory birds. The voluntary flooding began on August 1st in partnership with the Association Escales Limicoles – Agriculture and will continue until October 30th. Located in Yverdon-les-Bains, the site, which is the subject of an agreement between the parties, currently welcomes numerous winged travelers en route from Scandinavia and Siberia to their winter quarters.
