Nove anni fa, sua sorella, che all&#039;epoca lavorava per noi, gli chiese di unirsi a lei. Inizi\u00f2 come lavoratore stagionale nella serra delle melanzane, si interess\u00f2 al lavoro, impar\u00f2 in fretta e, qualche anno dopo, fu nominato responsabile.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;All&#039;inizio mi sembrava tutto magico&quot;, ricorda ridendo, mentre racconta i suoi primi passi nella coltivazione delle melanzane. Ma assimila rapidamente le tecniche. Oggi \u00e8 lui a preparare le miscele nutritive secondo le istruzioni del responsabile della coltivazione e a monitorare attentamente le condizioni delle piante e dei frutti. &quot;Quando prendi in mano una melanzana, capisci subito se \u00e8 buona o no&quot;, spiega. Una competenza che trasmette al suo team, garantendo che il suo lavoro possa essere svolto anche in sua assenza.<\/p>\n<h3>Le quattro stagioni nella serra delle melanzane<\/h3>\n<p>La semina avviene in inverno e la raccolta inizia a marzo. Questa partenza anticipata consente di avere piante robuste e raccolti abbondanti in estate, che proseguono fino a ottobre. Presso Stoll produciamo circa 400 tonnellate di melanzane all&#039;anno per soddisfare la crescente domanda di questo ortaggio fruttato. Negli ultimi anni il suo consumo \u00e8 aumentato notevolmente in Svizzera, spinto dall&#039;ascesa della cucina mediterranea e dalla disponibilit\u00e0 di questi prodotti locali.<\/p>\n<p>Verso la fine dell&#039;estate le piante raggiungono fino a sei metri di altezza, toccando quasi il tetto della serra. Rafal e il suo team trascorrono quindi gran parte del loro tempo in quota, spesso in condizioni di caldo intenso. La giornata inizia sistematicamente con la raccolta, a cui segue la cura delle piante: l&#039;addestramento per guidarne la crescita e la potatura per conservare solo i rami pi\u00f9 produttivi.<\/p>\n<h3>Tra lavoro impegnativo e momenti di evasione<\/h3>\n<p>Sebbene il suo lavoro sia stagionale, Rafal svolge un ruolo fondamentale durante tutto il ciclo delle melanzane. Alla guida del suo team in Svizzera per dieci mesi, supervisiona la produzione e l&#039;organizzazione del lavoro all&#039;interno della serra. A novembre e dicembre torna in Polonia per stare con la sua famiglia, prima di tornare ogni anno per una nuova stagione.<\/p>\n<p>Grande amante dei viaggi e delle lunghe strade, ama partire per il weekend, spesso inaspettatamente, a seconda dell&#039;umore del momento. Apprezza la posizione centrale della Svizzera in Europa, che gli consente di raggiungere rapidamente la Francia e l&#039;Italia, tra le sue mete preferite. Di solito uno o due colleghi viaggiano con lui, trasformando queste scappatelle in momenti di convivialit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Con la sua carriera, Rafal illustra perfettamente come il rigore, la voglia di progredire e l&#039;impegno verso gli altri possano aprire la strada a maggiori responsabilit\u00e0.
